Very well done.

An extremly nice piece of animation. The music blends perfectly with an otherwise flawlessly progressive flash. The use of colours and style to display the different moods of the scenes, mixed with the lack of real sound made for one hell of a combination. Well directed, and well produced.
Managed to send a chill down my spine more than once; I love it.
Good work.

Thanks, the visual style in this movie was actually one of the most fun parts of doing. And i simply love to draw.

Not too shabby

The flash had its worthwhile moments, but, there were a few points to drag it down.
Firstly, though, this is a matter of opinion; most of the music didn't really seem to fit with the theme of the movie, nor mix properly with the M:TW sound effects.
Secondly, since I'm a history buff (Especially on the topic of greece), I found it strange how the Spartans used bows, toxotes were extremely rare in a spartan army, seeing as they would rather rely on their spears, using them as javelins.

But, I liked the theme of the movie, and I'm sure the sequel will be great.

I have no words.

It was simply amazing.
Suffice to say; it graces newgrounds, and, it's definatly the best movie out there.

And, for a short, it is, arguably, the best short film I've seen.

Oooo

It ran smooth on my computer, oh yes it did.

What you've got here is a great game, while the craft handles a bit slow, and, the hitbox is a bit off, it's amazing, crisp graphics, blue beams that sting badly, skimpily clad women, this game has it all!
Kudos for the author, if this was his first attempt on flash, but ,what impressed me the most, wasn't the game itself, it was the menu screen, and all it's options, it's more than I have ever seen a flash game, ever, since McFretn's(if that's how it's spelled) Combat instict(I & II), this is by far the most appealing flash action game around, did I mention the sweet menu screen and crisp graphics?
Yes? Well, it's worth mentioning twice, even while it makes me look like a complete idiot.

In conclusion: Ohh! Five, five all the way, I'd love to see this game on the front page, it's worth it, even with the demanding system specs.

Great work!

The hitTest's were purposely modified. Normally you get a lot of collisions that aren't really collisions (any ASer knows why), so I used smaller clips within the greater ones to define a 'hittable' area.
It is my first serious attempt, arguably. I made half of an rpg demo before this tho.
Wow, you've given me one of my best reviews yet. Thanks for that.

I'm at a loss of words

This game was incredible, it is by far the most story driven game on Newgrounds, christ, I'd be set with but the text (being the book nerd I am, and all), it was masterfully written, and, pulled me in instantly.
on to the game.
Graphics -- Crisp?
They weren'y only crisp, they were a work of god damned art, before I completed the game, I had to zoom in to get a better view of it all.
It's the slickest I've seen in quite some time.
Now, what you have got here is a sound game, amongst few.
Put short; this game kicks many monkeys.

Great work, can't wait for the next installment.

Ownage

It was great, albeit short, the controls were a bit slacked, but ,I guess it was the only way to pull it off.
It really did give that arcade feeling.
Nice job.
